Dear friends and community,

For the past 14 years, the Reservoir Food Pantry has been a steady source of nourishment and support for families in the town of Olive. Every Monday, our volunteers have opened their hearts and our doors, providing fresh and healthy food to our neighbors in need. Since our founding in September 2013, we have served our community without regard to income, age, or circumstance, living out our mission to improve and sustain the quality of life in the area surrounding the Ashokan Reservoir.

Today, I write to you with both urgency and hope. We are losing our current home—the shed and greenhouse behind the former Trail Nursery building on Route 28 in Boiceville that has been our home for 14 years. Without a new location, the Reservoir Food Pantry cannot continue its vital work of feeding the hungry in Olive. We need your help to secure our future. We are asking our community to join us in one of two ways:

**Option 1: If you have property or know of available space** in the Town of Olive that could serve as our new home, please reach out to us. We need a space that can accommodate our food storage, distribution operations, and weekly gatherings. Your property could become the foundation of hope for countless families.

**Option 2: Financial support to purchase or repurpose a space.** If we are to find and establish a permanent home for the pantry, we need funds to make that happen—whether that means purchasing a building, renovating an existing space, or creating a new location to ensure that we can continue serving the community.

The need in our area has not diminished; on the contrary we serve more people today than at any point in the last 14 years. Food insecurity continues to affect our neighbors, from young families with children to seniors living on fixed incomes and everyone in between. The Reservoir Food Pantry is more than a distribution center—it's a community where dignity is preserved, where volunteers fight to end hunger one Monday at a time, and where no one is turned away.

We have always depended on the generosity of this community, and we are asking for that generosity once more. Please consider making a donation to our mission, or contact us if you know of a potential location. Your support—whether a monetary contribution, property lead, or simply sharing our story—will help ensure that the Reservoir Food Pantry continues to serve Olive for another 14 years and beyond. You can donate online below or mail a check to: Reservoir Food Pantry, P.O. Box 245, Boiceville, NY 12412. For questions or to discuss property options, please call 845-663-3353.

Thank you for standing with us. Together, we can nourish the hungry and build community.

With gratitude and hope,
The Reservoir Food Pantry
